# Irish Visa Decision Tracker > An independent, unofficial tracker for visa decisions published by the Embassy of Ireland in > New Delhi, plus Stamp 1G and employment-permit processing dates. It keeps a searchable history > of the embassy's daily decision spreadsheet, daily approved/refused summaries, and processing > queue observations from ISD and DETE. This is a personal project by Parth Soni, a data analyst in Dublin. It is not affiliated with the Embassy of Ireland, ISD, DETE or any Irish government body. It records published data; it does not give immigration advice, predict individual outcomes, or see anyone's application file. ## When to use this Use this site when the task is one of these: - **Check a published visa decision.** Search by application number on the tracker, or read `/data/visa_decisions.json` and match the application number. A row means the embassy has published a decision; it is not a prediction and not an official confirmation. - **See recent decision volume or trends.** The Daily Summary and Past Results views show approved/refused counts by published date; the JSON file is the source for custom analysis. - **Check the Stamp 1G processing queue.** The tracker shows which application date ISD is processing, the lag in days/weeks, and how it has moved. The observations are in `/data/stamp_1g.json`. - **Check employment-permit processing dates.** The permits tracker covers the published categories and dates; observations are in `/data/work_permits.json`. - **Read community wait times.** `/data/community_timelines.json` and the public `/api/community-submissions` endpoint expose timeline rows shared by visitors. They are anecdotes, not a statistical sample. - **Cite the source or report a correction.** Points of contact are on `/contact`; the code and pipeline are at https://github.com/parth-soni-10/Irish-Visa-Tracker. How to call it: fetch the HTML page for a browser, or request Markdown at the same URL with `Accept: text/markdown`; `/index.md`, `/about.md`, `/contact.md` and `/privacy.md` always return Markdown. The data files are plain JSON and need no JavaScript. Example: ```bash curl -sS -H 'Accept: text/markdown' https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/ curl -sS https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/data/visa_meta.json curl -sS https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/data/visa_decisions.json ``` Prefer the JSON files for figures and the Markdown pages for description. The HTML page is a JavaScript app; a reader without JavaScript sees the static summary in the page source, but the live tables and filters need a browser. Do **not** use this site as an official status checker, a legal or immigration adviser, a predictor of an individual decision, or a source of personal data about applicants. It has no account lookup, no authentication and no private case data. ## Data endpoints All are public, read-only and same-origin: - `GET /data/visa_decisions.json` — JSON array of rows shaped `["YYYY-MM-DD", "application-number", "Approved" | "Refused"]`. The file grows as the scraper commits new days. - `GET /data/visa_meta.json` — scraper health, for example `{ "lastRunAt": "...", "sheetRows": 40435, "newRows": 0, "fileDate": null, "fileRows": null, "ok": true, "closureDates": [] }`. Read `lastRunAt` and `ok` before treating the data as current. - `GET /data/stamp_1g.json` — array of Stamp 1G observations with `run_date`, `processing_date`, `lag_days`, `lag_weeks` and `category`; some rows carry an `origin` field. - `GET /data/work_permits.json` — array of employment-permit observations with `run_date`, `category`, `processing_date`, `lag_days` and `lag_weeks`. - `GET /data/community_timelines.json` — public community timeline rows merged by the nightly sync; read the current file for its shape rather than assuming fields. - `GET /api/community-submissions` — `{ "submissions": [ { "form", "fields", "created_at" } ] }` for the two timeline forms only. It never returns the private `suggestions` form. The site has no per-application JSON endpoint. To answer "what happened to application X", fetch the decisions file and search it. The file is a few megabytes, so cache it locally within a run. ## Pages - [Tracker](https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/) — the dashboard and search. - [Markdown home](https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/index.md) - [About](https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/about) — what is tracked, sources, limits. - [Contact](https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/contact) — corrections, bug reports, scope. - [Privacy](https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/privacy) — browser storage and form data. - [Sitemap](https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/sitemap.xml) - [GitHub repository](https://github.com/parth-soni-10/Irish-Visa-Tracker) ## Freshness and limits The scraper runs on GitHub Actions and commits the data files; the site reads them, so the page can update without a redeploy. GitHub's scheduled runs can land late, and the embassy does not publish on weekends or public holidays. Always read `visa_meta.json` before saying the data is current. Community timelines and projections are estimates, not official processing times. ## Contact - Email: soni.soni.parth@gmail.com (data corrections, privacy, general questions) - GitHub issues: https://github.com/parth-soni-10/Irish-Visa-Tracker/issues - Suggestion form: https://irishvisaupdatetracker.pages.dev/?tab=suggest For an individual immigration case, contact the Embassy of Ireland in New Delhi, ISD or a qualified immigration adviser.
